Went here for lunch with family. When we got there it was quite but it soon filled up. The lunch that we all had was lovely. I only had a light lunch but it was all home made and the rest of my family said theirs was good as well. The only thing I found was it felt cold inside,... More

Hi finelady44 Thank you for your lovely review, we're delighted you like the place and enjoyed your visit. I'm sorry if you felt the room was cold on the day. It was glorious weather on Saturday, probably the warmest day of the year so far and most people were electing to sit outside in the sunshine. We'd had the fire... More

We went for lunch here today, never having been before, with Family. The meals were great. I can recommend the food here, the owners were very anxious to please. nothing was too much trouble. It's a very popular place, was full just before we left around three. I would certainly go again, even though we live in Bude, it's a... More

We were seeking a late Sunday roast and found one of the best here. The greeting was warm and friendly and the food generous and delicious. Great bar with local draft ales and decent wine. We will return and would recommend enthusiastically.

Just had a really good lunch at the Bridford: 10 of us (extended family). Really tasty proper pub food, with a very wide choice. Lovely homemade puds (not too expensive at £5.50 each), warm welcoming atmosphere and caring (but not obtrusive service), and great real ale. You couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended: hard to find but worth the effort.... More

Description
South Devon CAMRA Pub of the Year 2015. The Bridford Inn is a family run 17th Century inn in the pretty village of Bridford in the Teign Valley, Dartmoor National Park. The pub was originally two cottages and retains all the character and charm with exposed beams, stone walls & a large inglenook fire-place with a log burner and original bread oven. We allegedly have the widest bar in the south west and our south facing beer garden looks out over the beautiful Dartmoor countryside - perfect for the summer months. Families, dogs & horses are welcome and we're well placed for walkers, riders, cyclists and visitors to Dartmoor. We have a range of local and national cask ales (We're in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide), malt whisky, popular wines and home cooked delicious local food served in our relaxed & informal bar. Check out our Cider & Scrumpy bar with a selection of 15 real ciders to try and our extensive collection of Gins. See our website for details of our menu, opening times, what's on and how to get in touch with enquiries or bookings.
