We split a grouper Rueben and a BLT. The food was excellent!!! Great service and beautiful little nook to eat. A little hard to find. It is tucked away in the budget marina.

We were taken to CaRiGa's for lunch and the food and service was excellent. The hideaway location in a boat yard added to the appeal. The drinks were mixed just as we liked them. Will return to experience happy hour asap.

Hidden by the boats at independent is a gem of an island venue. Operated by Randy and his wife Sally - long time local restaurant operators - they epitomize "VIstrong"! It's the beginning of March almost 6 months since our hurricane insanity began and it...is just on this first Friday of the month that power came on. In true form Randy was in the kitchen his usual infectious smile and jolly laugh - seriously how does he do it?! Sally was out on the floor greeting everyone,taking orders and thanking us for our support. Happy hour specials from 5 - 7 with a menu of spicy tuna (fresh!) bites, pork tacos and other delights all under $10. No victim attitude here, no pity party - good food good service - an awesome place to meet up with friends - almost a normal Friday on the island.More

Was meaning to stop here on a recent stay in St. Thomas, but kept driving by the turn. Finally got here on our last morning - and it far exceeded our expectations. What a lovely setting amidst the Mangroves! We got a prime table, water...side....and had an iguana come begging for handouts...while we watched the trunk fish swim by.... I just ordered eggs, toast and homefries - but the eggs were fresh and cooked just right, and the rye toast was good. But the homefries were the best I've eaten in years. We were here in the morning, so no problems with the bugs, but this is definitely a spot worth trying. When we return, it will be tops on our list!More
