We received a warm welcome from 'Kirsty' at The New Inn :) There were 6 in our party, two of which were dogs. We had pies and burgers, both home-made and super tasty! We are planning on a return visit before we finish our holiday :)

Popped in after a not so good visit to a pub in Stratton. We wanted to finish our evening with a dessert and drink and weren't disappointed. Lovely sticky toffee pudding and very welcoming staff, thoroughly enjoyed thank you.

Having enjoyed a meal at the pub earlier in the week we thought it would be lovely to cycle there in the fabulous weather and enjoy Sunday lunch in the garden. Arriving hungry after an hour's cycle to lovely food smells we went to the bar at 1.55 to order. Only to be told they stopped serving at 2.00! When... More

Followed the sign off the Broadwindsor to Bridport road on impulse. Was exactly what we were looking for. Cosy restaurant which accepts dogs. Welcoming staff and great food with no pretensions of grandeur. Thank you - we will be back soon.

Friendly pub just outside of Beaminster. Read a good report so we went for an evening meal. Small pub with a mixture of size and type of tables in the bar (don't know if they have another room or bar) Group of locals at the bar talking local talk and we're friendly. The menu is limited but it was a... More

Just been on holiday in the village and used the pub several times. The food was very good and the atmosphere was great. As a bonus it was dog friendly would highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Description
The New Inn is a Traditional Village inn serving great food and real ales to both the local community and guests from further afield. We offer a great range of meals, with ingredients locally sourced, complemented by Palmer's Reals Ales and some great wines. We have a bar area and a separate restaurant, both with roaring log fires. The outside area has a large lawn for lazing on those summer days. Children and well behaved dogs are very welcome, and we have a seperate childrens menu.
