The Kilchoan House Hotel has been getting better and better over the last few years. You get a consistently good service (especially from the lady and South African guy in the bar), and good standard of food. Lovely seafood specials on our last visit in October. Many locals use it so that says a lot. Never stayed here as we... More

Had good value fish and chips meal. Service was friendly and quick. We sat in the conservatory which was heated and comfortable. Would recommend.

Ate here whilst on holiday, quaint old fashioned hotel but food was good, I had the langoustines in lemon butter and my husband the steak, cooked well and service was ok.

We were staying for a week self catering in Ardnamurchan and ran out of food with nowhere to buy much for dinner so, we ventured into Kilchoan and called at the hotel. Once for tea with our dog outside then two nights running inside with our dog. Great food, especially the fish & chips on Friday and very friendly staff,... More

Friday night is fish supper night at the Kilchoan Hotel. There is a choice of fish, chicken, black pudding, fishcake to go with your chips. We had the fish and it was excellent. We ate in but you can order a take away. Friendly staff and good quick service. It was quite busy so would be a good idea ot... More

Whilst holidaying in Kilchoan, we had two evening meals at the hotel. Both occasions were very enjoyable with good service, enjoyable food and reasonably priced. The beef pie was good and the Friday fish and chips excellent.

A thriving local pub/hotel, a real hub of the community. Excellent fish and chips, great ale, friendly atmosphere. Will visit again.

Called in for lunch. Menu is pretty much bog standard pub food at lunch time. Scampi and chips was well cooked and presented. No complaints. A useful place as there is not much else around.

Staying in Kilchoan at a local self catering we called into the hotel for a beer and possible meal. Asked for a pint of the popular beer and told they had no draft beer only bottled, so order a pint of lager. Wife wanted a gin and tonic, so I ordered a large Bombay with ice, but no ice available.... More

We had been turned away from the Sonachan Cafe because it was closed so went to this Hotel. It was early May and the place was deserted. I am a coeliac and so need a gluten free diet. The only thing I could eat on the menu was the salads. But I wasn't disappointed. It was huge with a great... More
