    on a very hot sunday afternoon lots of places to eat were closed in mid summer vacation????, Via was open but did not serve lunches, only dinner...we were happy to order some toasted sandwich that were nice, tasty although we thought they were still baking...More

    Via Bar is one of the few bars located in Madalena village, we stopped by after a long exhausting day climbing Mt. Pico. All we wanted was some quick food and some beers to end the day and go back to our hotel to sleep....More

    Thanks for your reply, and we're glad everyting was good. FYI - Smoking is only allowed after 16h00, so for lunch we don't have smoke inside.

    Thanks for you're reply. Smoking is only allowed after lunch, and we are gradually changing the bar for a non smoker place at least for the dinner hour, because that's a reality for the lunch.
