We had a meal last night just after sunset. Views are incredible! Nice, friendly & welcoming staff, I had squid to start which was nice, it had a really good light batter which is hard to find with squid. For mains we had the halloumi salad, which was huge for a salad! Had a big thumbs up from the missus.... More

This restaurant has a great menu on offer almost matching Rick Stein in their offering of seafood. Very kind staff, during several visits always managed to reserve a window table offering an amazing view of St. Michael's Mount and the tides going in and out. Parking can be a challenge but the food and vistas are worth it !

Went for Sunday lunch during half term week. Service excellent, our waiter was brilliant! Not the cheapest of Sunday lunches but the setting and decor was just fab. Fantastic views across to St Michaels mount. Would of been nice to have had the windows opened as was extremely warm but informed they couldn't ( can't remember the reason). Highly recommend... Had a lovely afternoon meal here with my partner. We both had the squash risotto and it was lovely. It's hard to find a good risotto that is seasoned well. We had a lovely waitress, Manuela, who was very friendly, attentive and seemed to be enjoying her time. All this coupled with a great view I would definitely recommend (:

Where do I start..... From start to finish our visit here was fantastic... Our room was beautiful with an incredible view of the mount. All staff greeted us politely and simply couldn't do enough for us... We will definitely be staying here again and will highly recommend to family and friends

Where better to catch lunch with open views towards St Michael's Mount and the wide expanse of Mounts Bay. Set lunch didn't have too much choice but the a la carte menu has plenty of seafood and meat dishes. All served with a smile by keen young serving staff. Ideal for families - very relaxed atmosphere.

We were asked to move inside because they were busy and not serving food outside. Top floor is stunning, with incredible views over the bay. We unfortunately had to wait 40 mins but the place was very busy so understandable and fair. We had soups, chicken pie and risotto. All executed perfectly, especially soups! Great spot for a break!

We came here for coffee and were going to have food, all of a sudden it got quite busy and there was an older man showing people to seats, we heard a group come in and ask for a table for 7 people, so he came over to us and asked us how long we were going to be, because... More

We had Christmas Day Dinner here 2 years ago and were very pleased with the food and how the day went. Staying in Cornwall again this year we struggled to find pubs and restaurants that were open on Boxing Day, however thankfully the Godolphin Arms was. We booked online on Christmas Eve and were pleased we did ! Perhaps owing... More

Food served throughout the day
Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.

From hearty Cornish breakfasts to relaxed lunches and intimate dinners, our menu is inspired by living and working by the sea and produce grown and farmed locally. Fresh daily bakes of the most delicious desserts and cakes are also offered up, to be enjoyed alongside the perfect cappuccino or latte.

Where to eat?
Lots of natural, light bathed and restful spaces - all with far-reaching views out over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount. Sit in the new glass and zinc extension, with doors that open out for al fresco dining during the summer months. Celebrate with family or friends around the intimate Captain's Table that seats 9 or alternatively, relax in our upper deck that has easy sofas, comfy chairs and a logburner. On the lower deck, walk straight in off the beach to the colourful and chilled-out beach bar and dining area. Outside, the beach terrace remains a place to linger, absorb the astonishing views and simply watch the world go by.
