Were on holiday in the area and visited this pub for a quick drink. Landlord very friendly and welcoming. Husband liked the beer very much. Unfortunately did not have time to sample the food. Will return when next in the area.

Visited again as guests of a local group and we were treated to a buffet supplied by the pub. Very tasty selection. Friendly welcome from the staff. Good selection of beer - shame I was driving.

Visited this weekend with friends after a walk. Barman quite the charmer - not! Beers not a patch on other pubs in the town.
