Travelled up to Kilmecrenan. Wanted to get a late lunch & this pub looked inviting. Had the fish & chips - with mushy peas our son-in-law has turned us on to - very good! Even better, tho, was their seafood chowder - equal to the ones we love in New England!

Booked this hotel for two nights. It was easy to find after you get to letterkenny. We arrived on a Saturday about 4 o clock and the pub was quiet. I was disappointed by the lack of signs or info on how to check in. We had to ask a lady where to check in. We walked through the bar... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here last weekend for two nights and we had a very nice time I thought it was more of a hotel than a b&b when I booked it but It turned out to be more of a b&b which didn't really bother us cause it was a very high standard and has a pub and... More

We had a simple dinner of roast beef which was expensive for roast beef, mash, over cooked veges and gravy. The toilets were very grubby and the floors extremely slippery. The dining area was very much in need of a good clean with old food on the floor and the carpets grimy. We wouldn't eat here again.

I recently visited the lagoon restaurant with my family. I had past it many times but ventured in today .the car park had adequate parking . I did read a few of the previous comments on the lagoon restaurant and I found a lot of the comments were to be false or the Management had been reading the comment 's... More

We were passing by and called in for dinner, we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was really delicious and thoroughly enjoyed, especially the chips, lots of times they are advertised as homemade, these actually were! Service was friendly and efficient and we were made to feel welcome.

I've passed this place loads of times and thought it looked attractive. The entrance is via a dark pub with 4 sets of tables and seats. The main restaurant is set out quite formally and looks quite nice. We were seated in the dingy pub area. Friendly staff and menu pretty standard fare but nothing for vegetarians. I ordered fish...
