We came here after driving around the area looking for the Irish equivalent of the Great Ocean Road in Australia. Weren't disappointed after reading Trip advisor comments on the place. I had the open crab sandwich - which was indeed delicious. We also found out that the next Star Wars movie (number 8) was filmed close by and so the... More

We arrived for lunch and it quickly filled up with other tourists. I ordered the seafood chowder (which really only seemed to contain haddock), but it was very nice. There were no scones available despite being on the blackboard (even though it was early too), and they also had no earl grey tea - since it's not an unusual variety... More

I have often visited here in the summer time, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it serves good quality homemade food all year round. It was much easier to get a seat near the fire this visit and the Chowder and open crab sandwich are a must. Friendly staff with a good range of local beers on offer.

We stopped for lunch, it wasn't on our way, but someone in our previous stop of Baltimore told us it was worth the small detour and it Was! It had wonderful soup and sandwiches. It also had a great view in a unique, tiny village. You also get bragging rights for having a pint at the southernmost pub in Ireland!... More

A old style pub in a beautifully picturesque village, with fantastic seafood, pints and service. I had the crab sandwich with seafood chowder and a craft beer, served outdoors overlooking the bay on a beautiful sunny winters day, heaven on earth.

We ate here for lunch on two consecutive days. As it was off season we were lucky enough to get a seat at the window both days.We have often sat out front on a summer's day and there is always a lovely atmosphere. On our most recent visit we sampled scones with jam and cream, fresh sandwiches, chocolate roulade, chocolate... More

I'm thrilled that I kept driving down to Crookhaven in West Cork. O'Sullivan's was open on a wet and cold winter day. Perfect spot for a pint. Had a bite too. The people that worked there were lovely. The cat, there's dogs. It's just the best!

This was our second visit to O'Sullivan's. It is the perfect spot to sit on a picnic bench, enjoy some soup and a pint, and take in the salt air! There is nothing like relaxing at this 'end of the earth' type spot and soaking it in. We loved it!

When the season quietens this bar is always welcoming with great homemade food available day and evening from soups, sandwiches to fish platters mostly landed on the pier outside. Passing boats, motor homes or just tourists with their dogs call here most days. A few locals and fishermen add to the tales and athmosphere. If your anywhere in the area... More
