Superb food and at a nice location. Just a couple of small things worth looking at. Maybe it's a Kiwi thing, but the waitress called us guys all the time. "Hi guys, what can I get you guys, what do you guys want to order...?" Also, perhaps a little schooling on the wine list wouldn't go astray too. My wife's... More

Very good selection of menu choices. They advise 2.5 dishes per person and in our case they were correct. The food was delicious. The restaurant had a very good atmosphere. We booked for an early 6pm dinner so it was quiet but by 7pm it was quite busy. It would pay to reserve your table so not to be disappointed.... More

We had a fantastic food experience here. Waited a very long time to dine at Poco Loco but we will be back super soon. Food was wonderful, the best dining experience in Pukekohe. We had 11 dish's and dessert could only find fault with one being the lamb which was a little over cooked making it a wee bit dry... More

We decided to revisit Poco Loco as it had been a few years. We were seated outside....despote it being a bit chilly the outdoor area all had cute blankets. It has been redecorated and has such a cute spanish style going on. We ordered 6 dishes between us. The lamb sliders and Polenta Chips were me fav!! But the dessert... More

Not cheap for approx $15 per tapa dish. The ones that has sauce, comes in mini wok dishes. It was suggested that we have 5 tapas amongst the two of us. We had 6 plus garlic bread..our etes were a little bigger than our stomach! We ordered Mini Hamburguesa de Cerdo – mini brioche sliders with pork patties, topped with... More

Being not from the area (or the country!) we had no idea what was around but after a quick google search came across this fantastic restaurant. The service from the moment we walked in was friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. The food came out quickly and hot and it was delicious. Everything we ordered was so tasty and we... More

Welcome to Franklin's only Tapas Restaurant. Poco Loco means "Little Crazy" in Spanish, so come along for a different and fun eating experience. All our dishes are cooked from fresh, seasonal, local produce using authentic Mediterranean recipes with a Kiwi twist. Our chefs, Brenda and Hayden, plot together to concoct some cheeky combinations to tempt you. Tapas means "Lids" and is a traditional Mediterranean way of eating snack sized portions of food where everyone just shares what is on the table. The Italians call it antipasto, the Chinese call it Yum Char and the Spanish call it Tapas. It's just a delightful way to enjoy food. Check out our menu - and don't forget that we offer takeaways, too.
