We stopped in here for an evening meal due to staying in the area. Felt it was over priced although there wasn't much option. Both had the steak pie which tasted unusually sweet, was ok nothing special unfortunately!

Tasty, well cooked food with hearty portions in a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel could do with a bit of sprucing up, but the service and general ambiance was really good.

The Boat House Inn has a really inviting atmosphere outside as welle as inside. The seating is really generous so one is left with a certain privacy. We had a Sanwich/Soup and a Supreme Chicken for lunch - one of the best homemade brocolli soup...More
