Just spent 1hr 45mins having breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food was nice but service is appalling. We would have been as well staying for Sunday Lunch! No excuses either as restaurant wasn't busy and there appeared to be lots of staff in the...More

Really bad experience in the new sun inn. The service was extremely slow, poor and rude. They never give us the menu, clean the table (which had some leftover food) and it's a bit expensive for the quality/quantity.

The Sun Inn it has to be said is a fantastic eatery in Midlothian. It sits just of the main A7 at Lothian Bridge and is quite an unassuming building. However, inside is a different matter with the food on offer which not only is...More

Both my friend and I found large chicken bone in shredded chicken sandwich when dining recently in the new cafe section. Waitress apologised and checked with chef who advised this is shredded fresh off bone so mistakes can happen. They need to be more careful,...More

We visited this pub recently for lunch. Although it is on the main A7 road, you are not aware of the traffic once you are inside. The restaurant is very nicely furnished, and there is also a bistro in the conservatory serving coffee, cakes and...More
