May be it was because of the December period, but I would not feel like going back. Pasta was too rich (fat) and house wine tasted like red grape juice. Unfortunately. May be better at lunch-time.
La Scala is directly entered from the huge staircase that is Caltagirone's main attraction. We figured it would be a tourist trap, but we were wrong. We had a great dinner here after walking around in Caltagirone. Food was superb and the wines that came with it were excellent. Highly recommended!
