We weren't really looking to eat during a short stay in Bettona but I got distracted trying to take pictures of aircraft using the nearby airport. We came upon this restaurant with a beautiful terrace and view. My wife asked for the menu as a stalling tactic. Hmm. Looked pretty good. OK let's try it. Wonderful choice. I had pasta... More

It was suggested by locale persone of Bettona. Price more or less reasonable but about the quality we were expecting more. Risotto too much salty, pasta without salt.We liked the quantity of food and the prosciutto was really good.

Much to expensif if we compare with the 9 other restaurants we visited in Toscana and Umbria Service was a chaos: 2 of the 3 people on our table ordered the same dish. One of them had to wait 10 minutes longer than the other

We have been visiting this area for 12+ years now and finally decided to try this restaurant, we had heard good stories about it, we accepted it would be more expensive than other local restaurants but were anticipating a higher standard of food and service. There were some very interesting options on the menu so worth a try, however the... More

We arrived into Bettona at 9:40 pm and knew we had to get to a restaurant fast before they all closed. Nothing was open but a small bar said Guillare was open. We quickly ran to it to find that there was a hotel. We walked into the hotel and it was empty and we thought for sure we missed... More

My wife and I came upon this restaurant on a dark and windy night in Bettona. Coming up the windy road, crossing the empty palazzos, it was a delightful surprise to find a bright, beautiful restaurant full of diners (who must have been staying at adjacent hotels) in the town. Simply said, the dinner was superb: pasta with black truffles,... More

The food was fine and the atmosphere nice but a 90 minute wait for our main course, without even an acknowledgement of an issue is inexcusable. Ninety long minutes - we were the second people seated for dinner and the second to last people served. The food just wasn't good enough to make up for that.
