We went to Tapera do Sabor for dinner. On site, we ordered a Camarón in the Moringa for two that was delicious. The portion is suitable for a couple. In addition, we order a Dessert Cartola Special and Petit Gateau do Nordeste (Oven Cocoa). Both were very tasty, especially the Petit Gateau Nordestino. About the service: the hospitality was excellent and the dishes arrived very quickly. The restaurant is very beautiful and well decorated. It can be used for romantic dinners and family celebrations.

Delicious regional food, well seasoned. We ate a perfectly cooked filet with curd cheese, string beans and crispy farofa. Quick service. It's located outside the center, but it's worth trying, as I didn't really like the food at the beach stalls because it lacked flavor.

We passed by and the facade caught our attention, a very pleasant and organized environment. Unfortunately I can't post a photo of the food, I didn't have time to take it lol, but it was divine, very tasty, excellent texture and presentation. We ordered one Peixe Tapera and the other called Piscinas Naturais, apart from the starters, everything was very good.

Worst experience in the northeast in 8 days.
We ordered the chef's style filet mignon, which comes with garlic pasta and oil. The pasta was just oil, had zero garlic, no taste whatsoever. The 4 pieces of filet mignon were very rare and hard. And most unfortunately, the last one was SPOILED, confirmed by the kitchen afterwards. I certainly won't go back, not even for free.

Probably this is the best restaurant in Tamandare. Located one block from the beach. More suitable for dinner.
Good service and reasonable prices.
Large menu. I recommend seafood.

This place definitely deserves its high rating! The food was absolutely delicious! The service was great and the prices very reasonable! We had a mixed seafood dish (called Piscina Natureis) and the Pirão was the best I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!!

We tried grilled fish with rice in a mango sauce. It is the kind of food you cant even think of but when you taste it you touch the clouds. The venues are rustically decorated and it is illuminated with soft lights which makes you feel really cossy.
By the time we were there there was a guitar player Who played and sang bossanova during dinner. Perfect atmosphere.

We stayed a few days in gorgeous Carneiro Beach and had dinner at Tapera do Sabor. Nice place, well decorated, our waiter was a young man named Denis, very kind and helpful. For entree we had crab, perfectly seasoned and main course was seafood risotto. Delicious! Pricey, around 110 reais per person (1 bottle wine, no dessert).

We ordered a shrimp Salad which was good, but not spectacular. Our meal included pirão - delicious! Can't remember the name of our main dish. We ordered a single portion and split both the salad and the main dish. Portion size was adequate, but certainly not generous. The biggest disappointment was that the hot plate arrived with the salad. With the strong afternoon breeze blowing off the water the cooled off before we could get to it

tapera is a pretty nice restaurant that offers a great variety of regional food.
i went there with my family, late at night, about closing time, and they still offered us a fine meal, with a very quick service.
it's deffinitely worth a visit.

We found this restaurant through TA.
Close to the beach, location on map was wrong, which made us loose some time to find it. Good thing that the streets nearby had adds indicating the way.
We ordered the Peixe Tapera (R$44 for one person; $76 for two).
Well served, well grilled, tasteful, it came in less than a quarter hour.
As it's July (low season), the restaurant was empty; as we finished paying (around 1 PM) a family of Tourists speaking German arrived.
Waiter Tiago was courteous, sympathetic, kind.
What else could one expect?

We ate here four times and everything we tried was just *great*. I would say that a must-not-miss is the Queijo Coalho. The WC was very clean and the atmosphere was pleasant.
The only negative thing I have to say is that they didn't have any kind of salad available and no bread either (although both were on the menu).
I would recommend without hesitation.

First of all, the food is great! Everything we tried (and we tried a lot of different things since we kept coming back) was really delicious! I strongly recommend anything "a tapera", being the shrimp dishes my personal favorites! Aside of the food itself, the place is very rustic and charming and the service is excellent, provided by warm and courteous people!

We ate here many times, even invited two friends on one occasion. We all like to confirm that the food is excellent, all fresh shrimps are served and not made from Aqua Culture.
When we return to Carneiro Beach we will return. It is a beautiful walk from there, about an hour and 30 minutes walk on the most beautiful beaches. Depending on the tide of course, one should walk there on a low tide if it can be combined with lunch around 1 or 2 pm in the month of march 2015 when we were there
