Last minute booking and what a find, very pleasant location with accommodation and hospitality to match. Varied menu which the food I found enjoyable ( Salmon with roasted vegetables) is worth a try. The staff couldn't be more efficient than they were and I shall have no hesitation staying here in the near future.

I ended up eating here a few times during my stay! The wait was not long and the food always hot! I can highly recommend the mac and cheese!

The White Hart is just terrible, in the last few weeks they have run out of Stella, Fosters, vodka, house red wine and then Pinot Grigio - this supposed to be a public house! They couldn't organise a you know what in a brewery!!!

My family booked this restaurant as it was recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed. It was for a small family wake to provide food and drinks after a funeral. We chose from a well set out menu which was delicious and imaginative, beautifully set out and delicious. Lovely prawn sandwiches, various skewers with chicken, beef and feta cheese.... More

This was a mid-walk refuelling stop for my walking group on a quiet winter Monday lunchtime. We had the whole place to ourselves, apart from a couple of regulars in the bar. The service was friendly and efficient, but the food was quite ordinary with some overcooked oily chips among the biggest of a number of disappointments. To be fair,... More

Since JO the new landlady has been in post there is a massive improvement in this community pub which used to be filled with locals. The new chef is clearly experienced and my steak on Friday was delicious. I love the fact that she has been allowed to revamp this pub this will be the turning point . Please give... More

I attended a shambles of a Christmas meal at this restaurant this week which is detailed in two other reviews also. The appalling service and food has led to me having food poisoning and feeling absolutely dreadful. I will NEVER eat at this restaurant again and I will definitely be ensuring that nobody I know eats here after the absolutely... More
