Was staying at Ainsworth, saw the sign just on the highway directing us to the pub 5 min drive away. The pub has a really nice atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly , quick and attentive to the customers. Prices are very reasonable. I had the chicken cordon blue with baked potatoes. It was really good. The vegetables on the... I ordered the ribs with a side of potato pie. The ribs were excellant and the potato pie was out of this world good.

For a quick meal it was good enough. Nice beer. We had fish and chips, nice fish, dreadful chips. I think they were baked in old fat, not quite done either. The coffee (plenty) was more or less like tea.

The portions were a nice size and had an average taste to them, nothing fancy and a little less than compared to most pubs.

The pub itself looks a bit rustic and as if it has been extended a few times over the years. The food was very good and at a reasonable price. The staff seemed to know a lot of the people who were there to eat. This may be because the pub it attached to a long-term RV park, or there... More

If you are in Kaslo... do drive and take in a meal here. It's on the way to Ainsworth Hotsprings :) Always known for its fish n chips. Made with Halibut. It is so good. Their ceasar salad we just call Garlic Salad..we always share that as well. Have a pint and a meal there. Don't miss it.

This is pub food but very good. We were 1 adult and 3 children. We had chicken wings, chicken and chips, cod fish and chips and extreme poutine. All were pleased with the meal. It is family friendly. I am very comfortable recommending this place.

Everyone mentions the fish and chips. I had a bite and it was ok, but I am more of a burger person. I thought the burger was above average: brioche bun, nicely cooked, fresh toppings. Very filling. I had the super duper burger, minus the mushrooms. I recommend it.

The fish and chips were ok, but I suspect the "halibut" was probably haddock.Tasty though and reasonably priced. The halibut chowder was just bad. The veggies were overcooked to the point of mush, there were only 2 small bites of fish, and the rest tasted like a can of cheap pasta sauce. Not good.

Thank Dawn R
