Tuscany is famous for its meat, in particular for la fiorentina that is a huge thick T-Bone steak that is grilled so fast in each side, and therefor is very rare. We ordered this dish with three side dishes, white beans, roasted potatoes, and greens. It was really delicious. The steak was so buttery and tasted it really good. It... More

Excellent service, great food, friendly environment and very reasonable prices. The staff were very helpful and managed our table with professionality and courtesy. The dealt easily with the large number of kids in our party offering them reduced portions and made sure to serve them first making for a more relaxed and pleasant experience for the adults. Pasta dishes were... More

We were taken to this place by a friend who lives nearby. An old local restaurant established decades ago. From the outside does not seem much. One might just pass it. But once inside you will find one of the most delicious culinary in Tuscany. Meats are a must. All done on the "girarosto". Best in the area. Large portions.... More

Went here for a business lunch on a Sunday so the place was very busy. The food was wonderful, everything from the pasta's to the wonderful steaks! Our first one was a bit overdone for our tastes (La Fiorentina MUST be rare 'al sangue') but when we pointed this out they brought us another one which was perfect. Definitely recommend... More

We stopped by chance, and we met an excellent bean soup, flavoury noodles "Antonio's way", and a real and most delicate crème caramel. Everybody else were there for barbecues, very attractive but over budget for us (45 kg € Florentine). Price: medium, suitable with the quality (about € 10 a first course, € 15 for meat)

I was stationed at Camp Darby Italy from 1985-1988 and ate here frequently. Each time the primi (rabbit based pasta) and the fire cooked steak was excellent! And somehow they always had the best table wine I have ever drank in the area, it tasted awsome and had a kick. I visited again in 2001 and it was like time... More

Excellent meal especially the Fiorentina which is cooked on a natural flame. This is a great place serving top quality meat whichever is cooked in the traditional Tuscan manner.

Every bite here was delicious. I visited twice in a two week period, trying the following dishes: polenta fries, antipasto platter, bruscetta, tagliatelle with rabbit, ragu, rotisserie chicken, rotisserie rabbit. My niece had plain pasta with butter and even that was outstanding. Your meal will not be cheap, but it will be worth it.

If you want to go for grilled meat or steak this place has long tradition for that. Unfortunately I sensed a bit of tiredness with a waiter just not in the mood to welcome and serve customers as they would expect.

We called in for a drink on the way to another restaurant. Despite there being hardly any customers the waiter was rude and surly, but the worst thing we was charged €11 for 2 small bottles of local lager that were €4 each plus €1.50 service charge each! We had paid €5 for 2 at all other places for the... More
