Ate here twice. May be hard to drive to, but well worth the effort. View is unbelievable and food very good. If they have the lobster entree, get it - you will love it.

We loved the fish dish we had, and the view was outstanding. There were only a few other tables the night we visited so it was a very intimate setting. Its a little weird to get to-- you feel a couple of times like maybe...More
This place does not have good food, and it is very expensive. It had a good view but I'm sure there are other places. Also, the photos must be from years ago. There's not table cloths or anything nice looking, the place has really fallen...More
Ok, so maybe the food isn't the best, but the setting more than makes up for it. I've recounted my experience here on countless occasions as we drove here straight from Santo Domingo and barely caught the sun setting. You really do feel like you're...More

I rented a bungalow in Las Galeras for 10 weeks called Casa Jim. The bungalow was falling apart and I did not have hot water and I even couldn't use the bathroom for 5 days straight. Because my rental property was so abysmal I spent...More
Go here. A car will make it (we did- twice!) but it's definitely an adventurous drive! :) The views at sunset are nothing short of absolute amazingness.
Long drive from where we were staying but worth the journey as it was very interesting to see a different part of Dominican Republic. Food was very good and the waiter was very polite and friendly. If you get one of the front tables, you'll...More
