Visited there with my daughter and grandson for a light lunch on Monday 13th Feb They both opted for Cullen Skink soup and Half a sandwich. The Cullen Skink was nothing more than fish in milk and it was awful. I reckon it had been in the microwave as its was hard. I opted for Brocolli & Stilton soup and... More

Everything about this meal was a delight. Great service and the food delicious. Our order comprised of the mussels, Cullen Skink, haddock, fish pie and panacotta. Nothing disappointed.

Lovely food and service. Haggis Croquettes in a Whisky Sauce and Neep Puree were excellent. Fish and Chips were very good too but plate looked a little uninteresting due to lack of a salad garnish. Views over the harbour on a stormy day was an added bonus.

We met in the Ship Inn bar for a late afternoon lunch on a blustery Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. Food is served from The Captain's table restaurant next door, and drinks are ordered at the bar. Mussels come in a huge portion, served in a rich white wine and cream reduction broth that also has other seafood and... More

We were just driving around and stumbled upon this place - amazing fish and chips, really friendly service and it's a super cute place that has real character. During our whole trip we tried fish and chips at several spots all over the UK and this was def the best fish and chips - crispy, good quality fish and lots... More

Ate here back in November as the Marine next door was closed (I normally eat there when in Stonehaven) and we were very pleased with the food in the Ship Inn. The service was good but the food spoke for itself.

The menu was well appointed. Lots of choice, without being overwhelming. Good flavour and portion size! Unfortunately, they'd sold out of mussels, but everything was available. We all enjoyed our menu choices.

Visited this restaurant with a party consisting of adults and children and am afraid we found the food to be overpriced and disappointing. The Cullen skink was served in a very small bowl and was far too salty, bordering on acrid. At nearly £6 we were expecting something a bit more hearty although it did come with some baguette. My...
