I always relate to this place with summertime, on a nice day there is no better place to be sat close to the waterside with some nice food and friendly service. If a little inclement there is of course inside seating. Really recommend

Brilliant . Perfect. Tables dressed beautifully and festive even crackers. Put a much needed smile on our faces. Not been for ages during lockdown....shame really. The service, atmosphere, quality and quantity of food was spot on as always. So lovely to see that you are still...giving it all you've got. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. The Gotts.More

A warm and welcoming establishment. Just had a late breakfast which was really good quality and great value. Excellent CV security despite tier 2. Great staff too. Thank you for the excellent service Emily 😊!

I went with my daughter. It was her third visit in 8 days so quite a recommendation. I was impressed with the organisation and social distancing. Very meticulous and safe. The location is excellent, especially on a fine sunny day, beside the marina waterfront. There...is extensive outside seating and a large shaded outside space too with heaters for the cooler days. I had the roast beef in a bun. Two thick slices of beef with a delicious gravy and roast potatoes to die for. Great. The cakes were also delicious - carrot and orange cake is highly recommended so is the coffee and ginger cake.More

This is our second visit in the last month and I have to say we absolutely love everything about this place. The position on the marina is just wonderful. The decor once you step inside is plush, modern and luxurious. There were plenty of staff...buzzing around on hand to help. The team were young, ever so polite, helpful and professional. This was a visit for brunch and we ordered the special which was truffle mushrooms with an egg on seeded bread, full English, eggs royale and scrambled eggs on toast. Each dish was beautifully presented with fresh and tasty ingredients and cooked to perfection. Having spotted the awesome selection of homemade cakes we just had to sample some of those too! They were simply divine. Coffee was very good and the berry smoothies were delicious also. It won’t be long before we return to this wonderful place.More

We went for brunch but there was only the breakfast menu available until 12. It was pretty close to that but they would not even do as much as a sandwich for my wife who didn't like any of the breakfast options that came with...egg. They also refused to substitute breakfast items that I cant have because of diet. They'd happily remove them but not replace them. Half a breakfast at over 10 quid was not very appealing but we were there and i had to make do. It certainly wasnt worth the money and food was bang average. The service was very poor. Young staff hanging around doing little and we were having to go in and out to fetch basics like salt and pepper and napkins as they were too busy chatting. Wont go back. Shame its a nice location. There was very little evidence of Covid secure and there was no track and trace request. No handsanitizer on offer.More

Arrived to find a one way system in place Greeted by The Host who found the online booking I had made and after prompting us to sanitise our hands showed us to our table. While sat at our table well distanced from others I noticed...tables being cleaned and sanitised after being vacated. I witnessed staff social distancing from their colleagues and customers. There are tables outside some under a gazebo with patio heaters Service was prompt courteous and friendly. The food fresh and tasty. In my opinion the food menu is limited but if this is to keep everyone safe and to enable people to eat out it is but a small inconvenience Thank-you to all staffMore

We decided to try here for lunch. Booked online and the only times available were 11.15 or 2.30. We opted for late breakfast and booked the 11.15. Paid a £20 dep for table. We were shown to our table inside and down loaded the menu...on our phones. The waiter then told us that they were no longer serving breakfast (even tho it states until 11.45 on menu). We said ok then we will order lunch....oh no lunch isn't served until 12. We ordered drinks and then had to wait 40 mins for huge dry sandwiches. It is the only cafe I have ever known to stop serving food between 11.30 and 12. We all decided never again !!More
