My father is coming since.. ever, I think! I've been here as a child, so could not remember a lot. Coming back from Netherlands to visit him this summer I thought was a nice gift to invite him to have a lunch at this restaurant.. but the gift was more for us!! Food is excellent, and atmosphere very nice. The... More

Before you order the waiters offer you a taste of everything without telling that you must pay for those samples continually bringing more and more food ending the day having spent 300 euros for a meal

My wife and I came across the restaurant by chance on a Monday evening and, because few restaurants seemed to be open on Mondays in the town. Rather than choose from the menu, the very friendly proprietress told us what we should eat, if we were looking for local food. At this point, I would recommend anyone visiting the restaurant... The place is Amazing, I loved the atmosphere, the attention of the servers, the cook who came out to great us and explain how they garden themselves. We even saw their garden. We got soooo much food we couldn't finish it. The antipasti were so good I forgot to take pictures! The pasta was very good, the ribs were amazing,... More

My husband and I had been travelling outside of Rome and wanted to visit the medieval town Sacrofano (very very cute hamlet). Right outside the gate we found Al Grottino - we ate outdoors and the staff were very friendly. The antipasti were very good and plentiful and the shrimp 'alla brace' were fantastic. It was a very nice atmosphere,... More

Arrived in Sacrofano around 4:30pm on Easter Sunday looking for a late lunch, although lunch was clearly wrapping up we were welcomed and with Italian flare, staff were rustled up and a super series of pasta courses was served. Had no room for the offered meat and cheese courses. The staff we met were all local, so couldn't recognise the... More
