Took mum for mothers day lunch. From the outside it doesn't look much but inside the decor is lovely. Good sized tables. Very tasty dishes, good service. Look forward to another visit.

the decor and comfort of the restaurant is top class and is exactly as the photograph at the top of the page. the staff are most efficiant and because the degree of "hotness" with same named dishes varies in different restaurants in perth , the staff are very happy to guide you through the menu and make a suitable choice... We have visited Maharaja numerous times over the recent years, sampling a wide range of their offerings. We always enjoyed the food, both in its taste and it's presentation, as we do the friendly and attentive service. The design of the restaurant (carpet, linen, comfortable chairs) and it's layout add nicely to the overall experience, with the added benefit that... More

Nicely decorated with old photographs of India from bygone days. The food is flavoursome and staff are friendly. Despite being right alongside a busy road, there is no noticeable traffic noise inside. Last visited with an overseas visitor from Italy who proclaimed it to be the best Indian restaurant they had ever visited.

We were here for my friends son birthday. Entrees were fantastic. Much better than wherever I had before . Food was also sooo good but I enjoyed less. May be because I was full.😁 dessert was also so good

We enjoyed all the dishes we tried. Generous servings. Service could be friendlier but overall our experience was very enjoyable.

Went on Tuesday evening before going to a film next door. Have been past a number of times and decided to try it. We were very impressed with the comfy chairs & inviting decor & classical music in the background. Plus Chrystal clean windows so that you can see the passing traffic. The service was first class. I over ordered... More

Maharaja is sensational Indian. We're regulars and can recommend a satisfying meal everytime you visit. Our favourite dishes are: Tandori Chicken and Onion Bhajis to start or try the mixed entree plate for a taste of everything whether meat based or vegetarian. Mains are Peas Palau, Chicken Korma, Palak Paneer (my all time favourite), Beef Vindaloo also great. We cannot... More

The Maharajah is an ok curry house as Perth curries go. If you're a Brit, it's poor and expensive. The service is great and that buys me some loyalty but there are better places especially in Northbridge if you really want good food. I still go there and enjoy it. Just not the best.

Popped in for "date night" dinner - they knew we were in a hurry but still the food was AMAZING and the staff were attentive and friendly - highly recommend this place for couples, families or large groups. Chicken 65 is to die for!!!
