We stopped by in Brisighella and stayed for lunch in the restaurant. It wasn't recommended to us. We enjoyed the food, both starters, pasta and main dish. The place is relatively small, caved in a rock, but cozy. The coffee at the end was amazing. The price was also quite good for the quality. My dish: ricotta with pepper -... More

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this authentic trattoria in Brisighella. Not pretentious at all, one of the owners, Chiara, is the most genuine person I've met! We were sitting outside next to a regular customer who offered us a bite of his dish!! - one of the best pork dish I've had! - you can tell... More

While visiting the enchanting village of Brisighella, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Osteria della Fonte. The service and information was very good and the food... just delicious! Regional, pure food with great taste. My best meal in Italy so far. The wine was also very nice. It was possible for my family to eat gluten free. If I... More

At first glance, this restaurant looked a little funky, but we sat for a glass of wine and the cook, Massimo, brought us an appetizer plate of cheese and bread and then joined us with his own glass! We had told him about our biking trip from Venice to Florence and then we had a delightful conversation about the differences... More

Unassuming exterior belies the wonderful food and service. We were looking for a drink and were so enchanted that we stayed for dinner. Very good and very fresh ingredients delightfully prepared. Mossimo--the cook--was delightful and went out of his way to help us--even to the extent of checking train schedules for us! We felt like locals eating here.

We were looking for someplace open for lunch and a local resident pointed us to della Fonte. It was fantastic. We had a large-ish dish with four delicious items, a porchetta, bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, a local cheese, and a pasta with ragu: kind of a best of the region, with a sampling of local olive oil, a glass of... After three days in Florence / Firenze we stopped in small town of Brisighella 90 kilometers / 60 miles in the North East of Toscany to enjoy silence and the famous "cuicina" of Emiglia Romagna. We where absolutely delighted with a Great Dinner at this OSTERIA. They only use local typical products and we started our Dinner w a local... More

We started with a sample of the local cheeses, they were accompanied with delicious fruit jellies and they were very nice. I had a pasta with mora romagnola and my partner had a kind of stuffed pasta with lamb inside and it was excellent too. The pasta was incredibly fresh and on top they pored some drops of the local...
