Good ice coffee and a nice terrace to get away from the busy Morogoro streets. Behind/ next to a gasstation.

We stopped here as a part of a safari while on the way to Mikumi. At first, you pull into a gas station and have no idea it exists. The gas station and its flow are not visible from the restaurant. The menu was extensive with a choice for anybody. The greek salad was nice. Macaroni mince pie was tasty.... More
4 stars by Morogoro standards. Worth multiple return lunches for sure. Good sandwiches and bread-based meals. Oddly, it has quite a relaxed ambiance despite being physically attached to a petrol station. While most of the menu is good, stay away from the "Thai" dishes. We enjoyed eating here several times while in Morogoro. Nothing fancy but the food was good and reasonably priced for the amount received. Overall a good bargain. Service was friendly but slow (but that is everywhere we went in Tanzania!)
When here several times over several days seems like it is a hub to the Americans. Maybe because of the good food and cool atmosphere. I did because of the ice coffees The prices are comfortable and services are far better than other places here. Not to far off the main drag either.
Great food. Cheap burgers are large and tasty. The KFC style chicken isn't bad but the Beef Pilau is fantastic. Coffee here is great too. Service is friendly and food comes out quick. Also they do a cracking breakfast. Trouble is they shut after lunch and aren't open on Sundays.
I was surprised by how good the Thai curry was considering it's in Morogoro and not an Asian restaurant. Most of the food on the menu is pretty good and the service is also pretty friendly. Good place if you crave non-Indian, non-Tanzanian food.
Fantastic value for money fast food joint very reasonably priced and caters for even the health minded with a variety of salaads n fresh fruits of course not forgetting the cakes and pastries. Basically a day cafe. Breakfast, brunch and lunch.
ok, this might not be an ideal location, but there is nothing else in Morogoro that offers what Ricky's does- good food, good service, clean loos and helpful staff. Interesting to see reviewers moaning about the expats but people vote with their feet so I would say if you are an ex pat and don't want to eat expat food... More
