Staff could not be accused of being overly frierndly but they were ok Except for the Travel /tour desk - luckily we had done some research as he offered very little by way of assistance for onwards travel our rooms out the back were great- AC worked well in both rooms and both got good nights sleep. Included breakfast was... More

I have to say that overall the hotel is very good- clean, good wifi, nice breakfast. The service we received was disrespectful- the hotel's restaurant is closing its kitchen in 11:00 pm (or so we were told). We arrived to the hotel after a long day of trip to the konglor cave (that was ordered through the hotel, by the... More

We got the famous room with the balcony overloking the main street. Very stylish but dark and noisy. Changed to a room at the top of the building overlooking some roofs. It was quiet and light and comfortable though not quite finished. When they get round to the hooks for towels, bathroom mirror, etc and work out why the plumbing... More

We went to Inthira based on the recommendation in the lonely planet - 1 meal came out as described and would have happily paid full price for, the next meal the egg was not cooked properly and was still extremely watery, and then the last two meals to arrive to the table were the "khop chai deu" with chicken -... The food was ok. The coffe was amazing. For a place that promises endless smiles on their sign though they failed to deliver. Some did smile and were friendly others glared and delivered food and drink with indifference. When I paid and was given my change, they gave me all of it in1000 bills. At first I thought maybe I... Stayed here twice in-between doing the the Kong Lor Cave independently (search for my cave review). First time, we got a room facing the road, which was very noisy but the second time (in October), our room was out the back, so nice and quiet. This is a lovely colonial building with high ceilings and wooden original floors. The shower/toilet... More

Such a relief to have good American food with an Asian flare. The staff is always friendly and helpful and even treat you like regulars. The coffee is good, and the wifi is super fast for Laos.

This place never gets receipts correct. They always add one or two thing more. The pizzas were good here. The wifi was not working all the time. The rooms are overpriced! The staff is rude and unresponsive even. They charge you american usd when you give them your credit card and even tell them to put the amount in kipp.... More
