We went here on our last day in Barolo as recommended by our hotel. This hotel has the most amazing patio and view in the region. The food is typical Piedmontese. Simply Delicious. A little fancy specially if you go for dinner. More casual during...More

This was our second visit to the restaurant. The food is exceptional and the 47 Euro Menu Degustazione is ridiculous..... so much food... similar eating in a top U.S. Italian restaurant would be in the $150+ territory. The wine list is extensive and incredible. Prices...More

It had been several years since we had eaten at Bovio. We should have returned earlier. We were given a table by the windows that provide a panoramic view of the vineyard covered hills and valleys below La Morra. The twinkling lights of the small...More

We tried to obtain reservations prior to visiting Piedmonte, but due to the season they were completely full. It’s a small restaurant, and very popular due to the food and spectacular view over the Piedmonte wine country. After a scheduled wine tasting at Oddero, we...More

On nice days the terrace is a must with its generous views of the surrounding landscape. Especially enjoyed the egg ravioli with white truffle. They also have a very comprehensive wine list from which the waiter competently made suggestions.

We visited Bovio on a very snowy night and had huge fun sliding down their driveway to get to the restaurant door! As it was dark we couldn't appreciate the view of the valley in full but the restaurant and it's surrounds twinkling away in...More

Since Bovio moved location and lost their star the food world has become even more of a level playing field. This restaurant represents some of the best value for money in Piemonte. Located in Barolo their wines are perfect and matched superbly with the menu....More

The Bovio family, one of the oldest families of restaurateurs in Piedmont, already managers of the well-known Ristorante Belvedere of La Morra for more than 40years, has now moved to a new place, in a panoramic position among the vineyards of Barolo. Alessandra, together with her father Gian Bovio, continue the family tradition in the dining room.
