We were visiting friends close by and they suggested The Bell to stay overnight. (Handy also for Newmarket racing.) The room was in a newly built block next to the hotel. The bed was comfortable, storage adequate and the en suite very good. Free WiFi available. However, even though the heating was turned off, the insulation was very efficient resulting... More

We meet with friends from London in The Bell Inn Kennett Newmarket on Sunday 9th October, the six of us have meet there before, as the meal was very good. On this particular day we were given the round table in the window, that's ok but, the sun came through the window and it got very hot, there were blinds... More

Good Afternoon Anne, Thank you for your review. I apologise if you self the lady who enquired about the blind was rude, it certainly was not meant to be the case. As you pointed out yourself it is a rather dark old building and hard to light, Sheena was concerned that maybe the bling had slipped down or another customer... More

Ok food...owners and staff are good fun and know how to give their customers a good time. Lovely environment, walking distance from home. I'd definitely go again. Can't really judge the food as we had too much to drink haha. I'll let you know next time.

A lovely hotel just outside Newmarket, with very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent room, brilliant large shower and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Can't wait for my next visit.

We needed accommodation near to the Animal Health Trust, Equine Hospital. The Bell Inn is 5 mins drive away. On arrival there was some confusion over our reservation via booking.com but it was very quickly sorted out. We had one of the new en-suite rooms, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, free wi-fi, great en-suite shower. We enjoyed delicious evening meals in... More

Found this little gem for a birthday lunch, it felt like walking into my local, was greeted with a very warm welcome by staff and other customers too. The food was delicious, with quick, attentive service, would definitely go back and thoroughly recommend.

Food was really good highly recommend this pub. Portions were v.good value for money, as were v.generous with beautiful presentation. Just wished I lived nearer than 185 miles away! Accommodation was super, ultra chic, decorated in London theme. High spec beds, linen & bathroom. It's just been completely redone so was impressive. ....stopped here 24.8.2016

Came upon this pub by accident and decided to stop for lunch. What a find!!! Everything about this pub, from the fantastic Landlady to the excellent lunch, not to mention they do B&B which must be a cut above the rest - was just superb. Shame it's rather a long way from us but I'm sure we'll find a reason... More

We were staying at a local Stud farm and this pub was recommended to us so we walked there for a pub lunch. We were very warmly welcomed and also given help to find a table for our large group. The pub is decorated to a very high quality with spotless toilets and a nice outside seating area with beautiful... More
