Very disappointed in the Big Boy sandwich as the BBQ beans had same taste as cheap canned brand. The meat also lacked any BBQ or smokey flavor. Left the building and smelled of deep fat fryer oil rest of drive. The waitress was very nice and attentive.

I like smoked meat. This place does not have it. So if thats what you like you have to look elsewhere. The service is spotty because most of the servers are teenagers. I still eat here from time to time for a change though so it is not terrible.

It's easy to be too sympathetic in assessments, and I don't see that as too bad a fault. People usually are doing their best. We had dinner here on the recommendation of our hotel, and I see other reviews gave it a decent ranking. I sum up our experience as dreadful food, decor, and ambience unfortunately not compensated by a... More

I have eaten at Fat Boys on three occasions and had one meal that was catered. The BBQ Brisket that I had was okay, but I believe that I would have preferred a different sauce than what was used. Actually, I prefer my brisket to have a smokey flavor and have a great rub, with no sauce required, but that... More

Wasn't the best tasting brisket I ever had..!! Taste like it was cooked in the oven and not smoked. Someone familiar with smoking meat won't enjoy the brisket. While some of my friends said their food was ok, I was dissatisfied. The Cole slaw, what little they gave you, was great. I won't be returning... First and last visit...

Fast, good portions, and delicious. Had the Wednesday special: Big B open-faced, and fried pies. All really good. Friendly service. Fast and good. Pies fried fresh and delicious!!! Lots of choices.

Good food but nothing that made me say wow. Easy to get to from interstate and they do catering as well. I had the chopped brisket sandwich.

A friend suggested I try Fat Boys. We went there for dinner. The staff was very nice and gave us great service. The food was good also- I suggest the brisket dinner.

Outside does not look like much but the filled parking lot tells you else. Had the sliced beef brisket and Texas toast. The meat melted in my mouth. The BBQ sauce was some of the best I've had. Loved it.

We stopped by for a BBQ sandwich on the way to Jasper, Arkansas from Texas. It smelled like BBQ inside the restaurant so we ordered the chopped beef sandwiches with cole slaw. The meat looked grayish and tasted like it was boiled. Abosolutely no smoke ring visible. Even with tons of BBQ sauce added I was unable to cover the... More
