Dropped in last night for the first time and were certainly not disappointed. We ate in the bar, both ordered the $20 grass fed porterhouse - cooked to perfection. We both really enjoyed our meals - we will be back

Attended a business function upstairs. The food was amazing, service attentive and set up just right. Delightful space for a workshop or meeting with balcony area on a warm evening. Room has it's own bar and rest room facilities. No lift so not suitable for people with knee issues or disabilities

They are now open on Sundays. We just walked in with no booking, THe decor is modern. The music however was too loud - they did turn it down but not enough as the restaurant was empty. The food was good although by daughter did not like the burger very much. I had a pea & asparagus risotto that was... More

My wife & I love sharing a mixture of entrees for our lunch and there are many to chose from. Oysters, scallops, prawns, charcuterie selections & croquettes to name just a some of them and they were all delicious. The really friendly chap who was our waiter took excellent care of us. We're already planning our next visit

Have been meaning to try the Wayside for a longtime and thoroughly enjoyed my evening. The staff were delightfully enthusiastic and very helpful. The food was lovely. We had oysters and garlic prawns for entree, followed by seafood boiullabasse and steak for main. Cheers. Highly recommend the Wayside Inn.

Went here for a work lunch and had to sit on stools and benches and waited sometime for our meals. My lunch, the special of the day - Lasagna  (see pic) was a small serve. Would have rather paid a bit more and got a decent sized pub meal. Overall not a great lunch experience. The staff also appeared to be... More

Went here for dinner after reading some reviews from Zomato. Place seems decent when we arrived. I read something from their website that says happy hour from $5 for beverages and free glass of wine with orders of steak. Proceeded by ordering a starter, BBQ Tiger prawn and a Wagyu rump steak to share. When I enquire about the free... More

This restaurant has a good choice of food. We have met up with long last friends. However. The food was far to greasy and it spoiled the aftermath to the extent that I was sick afterwards. The white baits were very tasty by far too oily. Apart from that I think that one can request less oil in the food.... More

A lovely Valentines Day lunch was had in the outdoor area. The new Chef had put together a short menu which was very much to our liking - beautifully tender pork belly entrée with crispy skin salmon for me and for my partner succulent chicken. Of course we shared the decadent chocolate dessert! We will be back to experience the... More

I had a steak (grass fed rump), it just didn't taste right and I'm now not feeling that great. I wouldn't recommend this place :-(
