Normally when you get great food, you often have small portions, but this is an exception here. Incredible food. Starters were larger than normal, main was a good size and the desert was large enough to leave me completely stuffed. All courses were fantastic, thoroughly recommended.

Not the first time we visited, again really nice food. Always presented well and staff are very friendly. Great place hidden away in a tiny town. Prices reasonable. Good choice within set menus at a couple of price ranges - as well as a wider standalone menu. Highly recommended if you are in the area!!

Infrequently one comes across a chef so experienced that he covers all the traditional bases with respect to food choice and can produce your choice with absolute reliability. A lovely atmospheric old building, in the centre of a quaint rural town with plenty of parking just around the corner. Service was welcoming and very pleasant. Good cuts of meat perfectly... More

Spent new year's eve in this lovely restaurant; six in our group staying nearby with friends. Wowee..... from the staff, decor, food, wine just about everything was perfection. The restaurant seats about 25ish people so a lovely intimate atmosphere; the staff are excellent and very friendly and, thankfully, speak better English than our French! The menu for the evening was... More

The main dining room was booked out by a single (British) family, but we were comfortably accommodated in the room at the front. Good service, a little disappointed by the starters (especially the scallop tartare), but thoroughly enjoyed the Pastilla main course. Will be back!

We ended a week of cruising on the River Lot with dinner at this restaurant. The food and service was superb - one of the best meals we have had in a long time and at a very acceptable price. What a great way to finish off a lovely holiday!

This was our 2nd visit this month with 2 sets of friends. Each time we were impressed by the great menu, friendly + attentive service + welcome atmosphere. Even on a mid week evening when it was relatively quiet it felt relaxed + comfortable. Imaginative delicious home made food + great value for money. Looking forward to our next visit!... More

The food and the service were exceptional, with very pleasant staff who knew the food and suggested local wines to enjoy with the meal. Bookings are essential.
