A beautiful old house, a delicious food and a gentle service. This restaurant is absolutely a secret jewellery hidden in Saint Lambert's streets. The "a la carte" menu is pretty interesting, but even the "table d'hote" variety is huge! I was really surprised by all the different options offered of very sofisticated and fine cuisine, from the startes to the... More

This was our first time at L"Ancien Chablis and it was a wonderful experience. The decor was nice and relaxing. Our waiter was attentive and cordial and the owner went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful and enjoyable evening. They have a nice menu with a good selection and the food was exceptional. The restaurant is beautiful from the exterior with its classic look, the classic theme follows inside as well. The food was great and the service was quick. I will definitely go back to try more things on the menu!

The food was great, no complaint. All their dishes are delicious. However service would need to improve, as waiting at the table for over 20 min to get noticed by the waiter is a bit too long. It was not a busy night, several tables were free, so I could not understand the delay. My company joked saying:"Are they purposefully... More

I am usually negligent about reviewing, but this restaurant deserves the time and effort We were a party of 9 English only speakers, and the staff went out of their way to help us with food and wine choices. The food was beyond amazing. It was a perfect mix of gourmet style with comfort food taste and satisfaction. The pricing... More

Highly recommend the cuisine and the service. Many food selections and the meal was excellent (and so was the family discussion). Service was always there but not a bother. Very good recommendation on the Pinot Noir to accompany our meal.
