On a recent trip to Barbados, we visited Tides. My friends had been before and rated it highly. We didn't have a reservation but arrived at 12 on an overcast mid week day hopeful that we might have a table right on the ocean front. We were told no even though there was no one else in the restaurant at... More

It was our wedding anniversary and they decorated the table with sparkling beads and at the end of the meal brought out a chocolate cake with a sparkling firework. Lunch was a two course fixed price (either start and main or main and dessert). Very nice staff, service and food.

Wife booked Tides for my birthday. We went lunchtime to take full advantage of the view of the sea (I think we had the table in the picture). It has a pulse-quickening, understated elegance, favoured by the glitterati and well-heeled (apparently Jeremy Clarkson was just up the beach, but fortunately he didn't pester us.) Food is exquisite although I must... More

We visited Tides in March 2017 for dinner. We were seated at a table adjacent to the boardwalk and ocean which made the occasion memorable. Listening to the waves added to the experience. The menu is varied but leans towards sea food. My wife ordered the scallops and I had the sea food stew. Both dishes were excellent. Well prepared,... More

Just a beautiful place for lunch or dinner. Set menu for lunch is so so good. Dinner fantastic too a la carte. Not cheap but quality there . Worth every penny (dollar) you really get what you pay for. Staff delightful can't do enough for you One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Well worth a visit

We hadn't made a reservation so were unable to get a table right by the water's edge but we did have a table in an air conditioned room with a view of the sea. The atmosphere was really relaxed and calm, staff very attentive and the food was excellent. It was a bit pricey - around £150 sterling for two... More

Overlooking the ocean with comfortable seating and good service. Separate bar for cocktails and pre dinner drinks. Food well cooked and good but over priced wine list. Ok for a special night but expensive for the end product

This restuarant is probably within five minutes walking distance of the Tamarind Hotel and is perfect, with little to fault. The view of the beach and ocean beyond is stunning and must be one of the 'got to go to' restaurants on the West coast.

We had the hen egg appetizer and it was like eggs benedict but with potatoes. The merlot was good and the lobster was delish. It's pricey for two people and is not kids friendly in my opinion.
