Really enjoyed this cute little cafe. It's different and completely Brunswick for those who want to true a real Melbourne cafe. The food was yummy and the set up is really nice. Such a pleasure to find just at the end of our street!!!

This place would be 4-5 stars if the kitchen could push the food out within a reasonable timeframe. It's delicious when it finally does arrive. First time I came it was close to 40 minute wait and I thought I'd give it another chance (being that the food was so damn good)... and again, still slow. When I complained the... More

We just happened upon this cafe and first impressions were good. Warm welcome, nice vibe, good range in the menu and good coffee. It was after we ordered that things went awry. After waiting about 30 minutes for our food and seeing others, who had arrived later, being served, I enquired as to when ours was likely to arrive. The... More

I love A Minor Place. Although it is quite far for us from where we live we occasionally drive to A Minor Place on a weekend for breakfast. It is really cosy and laid back, with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are friendly and laid back. Food is AMAZING. Service can be slow on a weekend given it is so busy... More

It is a very quaint cafe, that you will not be disappointed with. Visited from Sydney. Little cafe on the corner with the Melbourne atmosphere. Amazing food, very fresh and smiling waiters/waitresses. With a little mishap with my docket, they were very accommodating, the food was definitely worth the wait. I definitely recommend.

My vegan daughter selected this cafe, and I was sceptical when I looked at the outside that I would find anything I would enjoy. But how wrong I was. There was a nice range of menu items to choose from, with unusual food combinations. Everything that came to our table was tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. Whilst there were vegan and... More

Nice surprise after being disappointed about not seeing Ceres open. The seating took me back to our campsites in Coral Bay, empty upturned milk crates with cushions. Quick greeting with water served and one of the most interesting lunches I've had for months. I am stranded on an Island in Queensland with very limited choice of restaurants and cafes!

Nice retro, funky vibe.....delicious food that accommodates all tastes, & efficient service. But we could only find the premises name written on the menu! Why not have a sign to make it easier to find, both geographically & on social media?

This is the second time we have visited this little cafe off the main drag of Sydney Rd on Albion Street . A Minor place serves great coffee and you can sit inside the cafe , on the balcony on a shared bench or they have several tables on the path outside the Cafe. The breakfast we had this morning... Always great coffee. Unpretentious decor and seating. Friendly welcoming service. I like sitting outside and watching the world and their dogs go by. There are plenty of seating options inside and out. Food is always good. I particularly like the bagel with avocado but equally the egg options are delicious. Good sized serves. Always fresh ingredients. Plenty of vegetarian options.... More
