We were staying at the Gresham Belson across the road (very disappointing - see separate review), so came over here for a drink. Very cute little place, reasonable prices and we sat outside which although on a busy main road did afford ample people watching opportunities!! Lovely waiter (not sure if he was the owner).

This is a restaurant in a pub. In the main it is pub. The restaurant part is to the right, when you come in. The menu is simple with a selection of steaks with different sauces. They start you off with a little basket of baguette, 4 pieces to be precise. I only tried one bite. It wasn't fresh and... More

I visited this restaurant twice and every time had a big disappointment. First time got burned steak, second time i've ordered mussels and it was really bad, like a rubber. The W.C in very bad condition and smells like ..... The waiter tried to cheat me with the change. The prices is very expensive . Better to go to downtown... More

Went for an evening meal while on business. I had the steak Roquefort, which was ordered medium rare, but was more medium well-done. The service was not great either, as the waiter was concerned about where we should be sitting and generally did not give the impression of good customer service. Maybe, it was just because it was a quiet... More

A dreadful meal ... poor experience - just unlucky? Not really. The manager had the cheek to insist I pay for the meal, though it was inedible.

We stayed at the Gresham hotel across the road so stopped here on Friday night for dinner, the steaks and wine were really good and the service was excellent. We stopped again on the Saturday for drinks on our way into the city, the service was incredibly slow even though the restaurant was quiet, Irish Coffees took over 20 minutes... More

As this place is just opposite the Belson Hotel (which has no restaurant), I've eaten here a few times on visits to our Brussels office. I have not been too adventurous as regards the menu because on my first visit I had the steak with a Roquefort sauce which was simply divine so that became my stock order on subsequent... More

I had dinner in this lovely place on my first night as a Brussels resident. Simple decor, friendly service (my waitress was great and persevered with my beginner French) and - most importantly - good food. I had steak served rare ('saignon' as I learned) and a simple crepe with a quarter bottle of surprisingly good house red. I now... More
