We had a lovely lunch for four today. We enjoyed the delicious flavors and the wine. The service was friendly and to end the meal the tarte tartin was just the best!

Excellent meal of bruschetta like I have never had before. Limited wine tasting to three whites. Ordered the riselling and was not disappointed. Very nice decor. Definately a find. Across from the bridge so good for a walk after to settle a full belly.

On a cold snowy day 6 of us settled in front of the open fire for a high quality truly authentic french lunch, accompanied by the vineyards own wines. Great service great food will definitely do this again

Love the location, but twice now I've been there, and both times were unfortunately, disappointing. First time was in a group of three in March, with food orders arriving at different times. Second time was in a large group booked in, and we understood there would be three dishes to choose from, but everyone was served a platter for two... More

We left Clyde on the start of our Otago Rail Trail and cycled through to this cafe for morning tea. I had phoned ahead to ask if they would be open at 10.30am as I had a party of 11 arriving for morning tea. I was told yes, but informed they had a large party coming in for lunch. I... More

We came upon the Bistro by accident when on a walk to see the Shaky Bridge. One of the best side trips you could make. A lovely setting, an amazing meal I had duck which was so tender, my husband had the goat rack, which was also beautifully tender. Lovely wines to accompany, as we watched the sun set, great... Unfortunately it was a little cool to sit outside which is probably one of the attractions of Shaky Bridge. The lunch menu was not extensive but we found the food tasty and satisfying. My husband particularly enjoyed their Pinot noir. The staff were friendly and obligingly turned the music down when we commented it was a little too loud.
