The view of the bay and Melbourne from the end of North Road is wonderful. The North Point Café could be wonderful. The menu options and food we selected were good (corn fritters and the banana pancakes). My double shot latte was also good. Sadly I didn't get a chance to order a second, as the service here is a... We stopped here for our morning coffee. Such a lovely spot. We both ordered a latte and have to say it's probably the worst coffee we have had in Melbourne. Although it looked strong when presented it tasted watery. The staff were extremely pleasant and efficient but the barista needs some training. Didn't eat anything so can't comment on the... More

Had lunch at this cafe after a leisurely walk at nearby beach. Location is perfect, staffs are nice and attentive, service is excellent, but the food is not the best, bread are cold and hard, obviously had been sitting on the bench for too long. It's a shame a simple bread can ruin the whole meal. Apart from the bread,... More

Be careful which parking bays you park in, in the pay and display car park, we apparently parked in the wrong bay which was for cars with boats and got a parking ticket for $150.

We had brunch here on a Sunday morning in a group of 4. Both outside seating areas were fairly full, but there was plenty of room inside and the windows ensure you can still enjoy the water views .You can choose from either the breakfast or lunch menus so there is plenty of choice. Our selections of Bircher muesli, vegetable... More

Dined in for lunch on Sunday. This café is in a fantastic position at the end of North Road right opposite the beach which has a great walking and bike path that goes for some distance. The café was quite busy but we were seated outdoors very quickly. The service was excellent and we received our lunch within about 15... More

Have a coffee or tea by the sea and then go for a walk! We had scones, cherry pie with a nice cuppa tea!

A local (regular) took 2 of us to lunch here during the week & we enjoyed the paella & linguini marinara. However, I asked for some cheese for my pasta (I know it's not the done thing for seafood pasta, but I love parmesan!!) Imagine my surprise when I saw the bill, which itemised "1 Special (serve)" $1.00 !!!!! Not... More

Had a great lemongrass and ginger tea also had porridge, the porridge is way too big for one person, I would say enough for possibly three people sharing :) I took mine to go, but still couldn't finish it The cafe has a great location, I travelled by bus to get there (600) and only a short walk from North... my husband and I dropped in here Australia day for lunch. We both ordered the chicken salad. Both of our dishes contained raw chicken. My husband's dish only had a small piece that was raw which he just removed from his plate whereas all 3 of my pieces were raw. I sent the dish back. It came back promptly but... More
