We dined at Sammys recently and we were disappointed in food and in the mixed standards in service. Fish was bland greasy tasteless frozen fish. Service was very mixed Some of the female staff were trying their best but the attitude amongst the male staff who were serving, including the owner himself was unhelpful and unpleasant in some cases. Shame... More

We stopped here while being on a coach tour and enjoyed a nice Irish coffee with a nice view of the ocean and the beach. Great location and would have loved to have some sunshine too. The place has good number of tables and also serve food. Overall, had a good coffee and enjoyed it.

We swung in for a late lunch at Sammys and had great service and wonderful food. From the oysters, cod and the kids meals our family was pleased with the entire meal. Wonderful spot to stop and see the waves when heading to or from Dingle.

Had dinner here last weekend and really loved the views and the friendly service from the owner and his family, however I felt the menu and food was a bit dated. We had a feta salad which was filled with a lot of lettuce and breadcrumb filled mussels. The duck for mains was over done which wasn't good enough for... More

It doesn't look much from the outside but do persevere. The food is awesome. My seafood chowder was terrific, full of fish and flavour. This is a must if you visit the area. I will return.

We stayed just up the road in Inch and stopped for dinner. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing. I got the braised lamb shank and wasn't disappointed. The owner comes by and asks how everything was and throws in desserts and other treats because he remembered us from earlier visits. Please do yourself and go!!
