Never heard of them, a quick google pulled up the obvious fact that every review including on the dubious TrustPilot is self written.
They may be OK and just new and because they specialise in Business and First only have less of a profile than the oft mentioned brokers who populate this forum because their target is those wanting the ultimate cheapest ticket to anywhere, but I'd still be very wary. No obvious signs that they are mileage brokers - the big risk area for all premium type tickets - but that's not to say that's exactly what they are doing, and that's possibly even riskier than a cheap economy ticket.

"They offer cheap business-tickets"
Most likely they are either a mileage broker or their prices are not live. Personally I would not chance it - you could lose a lot of money.

terms show - " Frequent traveler awards (miles, points, etc.), upgrades, certificate vouchers, and other discounts or incentives may not apply to some Above9 flights. Additionally, mileage accrual may not apply to all tickets."
Carol - I read that as some of the ticket types they sold, not those that they churned.

-In order to complete a Booking the following steps are taken to ensure its validity:
When we place Service Elements on our Site, we are inviting you to confirm their purchase. This is done only once you press "Book" on the payment page of the Site.
Once you have done so you have given your approval (which cannot be withdrawn if you change your mind) to Above9 to purchase the relevant Service Element(s) from the relevant Travel Supplier(s) (e.g., your "Booking"). We are free to accept your approval on behalf of the relevant Travel Supplier or to reject it, at our sole discretion.
We will then need to check the availability of the relevant Service Element(s). The Above9 email confirmation that you receive after pressing “Book”, is NOT the contractual acceptance of the Booking, but merely an acknowledgment that we have received your confirmation to proceed with the purchase of chosen tickets.
**Not live as they will need to check availability AFTER you agree to have them work for you.**
-Exchanges, cancellations and refunds
Above9 Travel offers tickets at discounted fares that are obtained from third-party companies and thus contain more restrictions than tickets that are available to the general public and booked directly from the airline. This means that many fares are non-reroutable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. Name changes on tickets are also not allowed – only the original passenger can use the ticket(s). By purchasing the ticket from Above9 Travel and confirming the checkout form, you agree that these terms are reasonable and necessary to maintain the operations of the Above9 Travel business.
If you need to cancel your ticket for any reason, please contact your Travel Consultant to review your options. Cancellation and refund terms and conditions will apply to your reservation and purchase of travel-related goods and services that you select from airline suppliers. If refunds are possible for the particular ticket, they will not be in cash but company credit will be offered instead. In addition, a $250.00 fee per person will be charged to process such cases.
**In this day and age with so many flights being cancelled, having scheduling changes, etc., I would not go this route.**
Verdict: Pass
Thank you all for your answers. This is exactly what I feared, and now my husband could read it here. He believes you more than me, because he knows I'm sometimes much too carfully. But as you all are against such an experience, he also well stay away. ::))
I like the part where you can not cancel but this company has different rules and can cancel on you at any point.
As Elton John once sang....'Get back Shonky Cat'.....
There are bargains to be had in BC, but there are also too many risks taken to find these from some agents.
If Expedia have a significantly lower price than the airline then it is a 'live' price, so it is real, and then you can decide who you buy it from.
Business class is about making travel less stressful, booking with a dodgy agent will not achieve that, you will be worried the whole time about all the things that can go wrong....hardly a good build up to a flight. In good times I use an agent for a significant saving, but only ever in coach class, and only near the time of flying when things are less likely to go wrong.
