Not easy as the sculpture is located in a field adjacent the M80!!!!

Nearest public road is Craighalbert Rd which runs past Eastfield Cemetery.

The postcode for the cemetery is G68 0EA

Go to the very end of the road towards the M80, the road takes a sharp right but at that junction it appears to carry on for approx 20 yds before petering out, to the left appears to be a tree line with a field gate in it, the Sculpture is beyond that, note that once you go through that gate you will be on private land!!!!!

Further to above there appears to be a public wooded walk Halfway down that road between the Cemetery and that turning I mentioned.

I got all this info from Google Earth Streetview and if you stop at the entrance to the pathway which is signposted you can make out the Sculpture through the trees!

This is a public forum so no need to ask for my permission as the info is readily available if you just use tools like google Earth/Streetview!

But hey knock yourself out if it helps others!

Oh so that's what it is called. It is best seen lit up at night. I think it is pretty cool personally.

Bryony you might be intersted in these on the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh too. Also the Kelpies on the M9 at Falkirk

I do, too! I'd love to see it lit up at night... another one to add to my list of places to visit.

I hadn't realised that there were sculptures all along that motorway - that is a great idea. Thanks!

In Scotland the right to roam is well established. This doesn't extend to walking through someone's garden, obviously, but it does extend to farmland, so longs you leave gates exactly as you found them (usually closed) and do absolutely no damage. Be aware that fields sometimes contain livestock, and it's THEIR field. Expect cattle to be inquisitive / aggressive.

People have taken photos from right next to Arria. There's a footpath running right past it.

Practical Caravan? There are good views of Arria from the motorway. Any caravanner trying to follow the backroads mentioned in #1, #2 are likely to end up very stuck ... just saying!

Yes for gods sake don't take a caravan down there! It's a modern residential estate at the end of the road!!!!!

Don't forget the coloured Sheep at the Pyramids on the M8, the Farmer sometimes paints them like Tartan!!!!!!
