Long term rentals around Coronado

We are thinking of retiring in or near the Coronado area and are looking for a long term rental for $1,200 US or less. Is there anything available?

We own in Coronado Bay Solarium and love it. I do not know the rates, as all owners set their own pricing. Check with Lynda Bayliss at Info@Dreamsin Panama.com. She is wonderful!

Just searching out destinations to stay for 2 months in Panama but not sure where to rent yet so many options...but which ones are clearly defined we're just a little uneasy of picking one. Can anyone help us out with this please, we're hoping to stay on or at least near the beach and would prefer not to rent a car to get around. We usually like to walk everywhere so we would like to find a place that is fairly close to everything and safe of course and reasonably priced.

We would very much appreciate your input.

That's going to be tough to find. The closest to what you are seeking would be Bocas del Toro. You don't need a car, but you will have to take water taxis.

Above all, avoid Gorgona or Nueva Gorgona. It is not safe.

Playa Coronado and San Carlos are popular areas on the Pacific coast for expats. But, it's very difficult to get around without a car. The supermarkets and restaurants are a good ways away from the residential areas and the beach. If you want everything within walking distance, or within cheap mass transit distance, you should probably look at Panama City. You'll have the ocean nearby, but there are no beaches.
