Hotel recommendation for a quad room in the Shinjuku area

Hi, Just wanted to check if anyone can recommend a hotel with a quad room in the Shinjuku area for around 15000 to 20000 yen per night ? Suitable for an elderly traveller. Thanks!

a quad room at that budget = in Okubo neighbourhood (edge) of Shinjuku, mostly Japanese tatami rooms (sleeping on the floor) but some regular twin rooms: Hanabi, Haru, Tokyo Plaza, Eishinkan, Cocochi

Just providing the information. It's not a recommendation of any kind.

You might be better off with two rooms. Quad choices are very limited.

If you want a comfortable quad room, Keio Plaza comes to mind but it might cost twice the budget you mentioned.

15,000-20,000yen/4 people in Shinjuku is not realistic if you want to stay in a decent hotel.

Thank you for all your replies! Will try looking at 2 rooms instead as well, due to limited availability of a quad room..

That would be a good idea. Quad rooms are fairly uncommon in Japan, especially in lower-priced hotels. And Shinjuku is one of the more expensive places in Tokyo to get a room. Besides, with two rooms, you also get two bathrooms! This might be appreciated by the elderly as well as the not-so-elderly.

Can I please ask if anyone can recommend 2 rooms for 4, travelling with an elderly? Possibly a drop off point for Limo bus from and to Narita Airport. And accessible to the Metro for a day trip to Mount Fuji. Can probably stretch budget to 30000 yen for 2 rooms per night. Priority is proximity to sights and metro for my elderly mother...We are budget travellers.., as long as clean and conveniently located. Would appreciate your assistance!!

Look into the Kadoya, located 3 minutes from Shinjuku Station West Exit:

Also look into business chains such as the Tokyo Inn, Comfort Hotel and Dormy Inn.

Note that limobus doesn't go to lower end hotels.

Look into Tokyu Stay as well. It's a new business hotel located next to Isetan and Shinjuku 3-Chome station. It's still a reasonable walk to JR Shinjuku station with subway access right next door.

Note that Tokyo sights are spread out. You will need to take public transport to get around so there is no such thing as "proximity to sights." Proximity to station is the key. Once you get to a station, most of what's interesting in central Tokyo are usually 10-25 minutes on the train.

For Mt. Fuji, there are trains (Odakyu) from Shinjuku station, and buses to Fuji Five Lakes from Shinjuku bus terminal.
