Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower

Will be staying at the APA Hotel Shinjuku-Kabukicho Tower. How far is the walk from

the Shinjuku JR station. Can anyone give me directions?. I have a slight difficulty in

walking so wondering if I should take a taxi. I just found out that is the "Red Light" district

so I hope it is safe. We are an elder couple (in our 60/70's)

Definitely take a taxi and have the address in Japanese and phone # with you:

アパホテル新宿 歌舞伎町タワー

〒160-0021 東京都新宿区歌舞伎町1丁目20-2

TEL 03-5155-3811

If you're taking the NEX from Narita, go out of the South Exit and get a taxi rather than trying to go out of the East Exit. You'll have to use stairs if you go out of the East Exit.

There is nothing to worry about regarding your safety in Kabukicho. I hope you have booked a twin room as the double room is tiny at 11m2.

Thank you Shibuyakko for the information. Really appreciate it.

Are there a lot of good "hole in the wall" places to eat in that area?

often with legit but unfamiliar "otsoshi" (cover) charge, different pricing (some legit, some not) between Japanese and English menus.
