Ill be visiting bohol at the end of the month. which restaurant in luboc floating serves good food?
I have never travelled on one but I thought they are all the same.
I saw a menu on my first tour and decided there is nothing I want to eat. So i never went on a floating restaurant then or my 5 subsequent tours.
My suggestion is you check the menu first, before you board.
My favourite spot for lunch is now the Simply Butterflies Conservation Center. It is in a garden setting with butterflies flying around. One reason for dining there is that I do Chocolate Hills first then do all the other sites in the way back to Tagbilaran. So it is lunch time by the time we get to the butterfly sanctuary.

This is a good question!
Reading some of the reviews on the loboc river cruise there are some negative comments regarding when the food comes out its a mad rush at the buffet and that people act like they havent been fed for a week. Thats not appealing for me but I would love to do the cruise when in Bohol later this year. Perhaps al a carte or a better organised buffet where table by table goes to the buffet.

If you will do the cruising just for the food then you might get disappointed. The food is just ok but we enjoyed the river, the singing, the local people dancing and singing to us. The total experinence is great especially for my children.
Edited: 12 years agoI made a review here in TA. I have been on 3 different cruise companies for the last 3 years and I haven't been happy with the quality of the dishes served. They are not that bad but for that price people should get better quality food. If I will not review the food then all of those tours are very good and I highly recommend them.
To kegler747:
So which of the the 3 would you recommend?
Do you have any contact numbers?
Will it be okey to have the hotel book this for us??

To read more about editing your posts, please follow this link: http://www.tripadvisor.com/help/how_to_edit_your_postsi tried the riverwatch floating restaurant. food was nice and i really like their puto. i eat leisurely and never fill up my plate like there is no tomorrow, as a result, i wasn't able to enjoy their buffet because i wasn't able to get a refill. but the total experience was great, the scenery and the performance made by the local people.
Hi renesio. Sorry I can't remember what's their names. If ever I will be doing the Loboc River tour again I would just choose any of them.
