I have an ambitious plan that could use a sanity check or some priority calls. Family of 4 (teens) in good shape but coming from sea level. We fly into Grand Junction at 10 am and then have 2 nights in Torrey. I figure we will get to CRNP by ~2pm on that first day. First week of June. Here's the plan:
Day 1 (2 pm start):
(some) Grand Wash
Day 2 (early start)
(Navajo Knobs probably too far/too much)
[back in car]
We could fit in Goosenecks and Sunset Point on either day. On Day 3 we head to Moab via Goblin Valley -- separate topic to come.
Thoughts? Any key omissions?
Suggestions for where to stop for sandwiches, snacks and water (preferably gallon jugs for our Camelbaks) en route from Grand Junction?
For Grand Wash, are their better parts at one end or the other?
Thanks!Edited: 23 April 2018, 05:40
