Barefoot or Flying Fishbone

Hi

I have been traveling to Aruba for the last 12 years and have always wanted to go to dinner at the Flying Fishbone. This year I am seeing many good reviews for Barefoot. If you were to choose which restaurant would you choose and why?

Everyone has their own opinions about restaurants. For us, the service and setting are better at Barefoot. We've had great dinners year after year at Barefoot. We liked FF, but our friends dining with us, thought it was over priced.

Barefoot is on our "go every year" list!

Barefoot

We felt like the food and service were better at Barefoot. Plus, it is closer to the hotels. Our food and service were ok at FF but were not on the same level as Barefoot.

Hm ... now I'm reconsidering; We were at Passions two years ago for our anniversary & I have a reservation again for this Oct. Is going to Passions & Barefoot within the same week redundant?! Maybe I should switch it up.. Looks like Pincho's is nearby; we were planning on making a stop there at some point; Does Barefoot have a bar in the large palapa area where we could simply have a drink & enjoy some ambiance? Thanks!

Yes, Barefoot does have a small bar inside the palapa.

Jules - not redundant if you look at the menus. As long as you like what's on the menus, go for it!

I've done Barefoot and Passions in the same year and it was one of our best food years! They're different enough, but both are really good. I wouldn't give up either one for Pincho's!!! I'd have the drink at Pincho's!

We like Flying Fishbone and took our friends. Sat at the table right in the water. We also rent a car. Then the restaurant added many tables.

We go to Barefoot every trip. It is my toes in the sand place. Like the fish. Also like the stars and the night Aruba sky.

If you do rent a car, then go....😀

Try both and decide for yourself which you prefer - this is really a subjective matter that is best decided by you. Both are good but, quite frankly, QUINTA DEL CARMEN is, in our opinion better than either.

Not redundant at all. We go to Pincho's and Barefoots almost automatically on our trips. The food is different at both but the ambiance is great at both. Sitting on the beach or on the water is what we like and we figure that's why you travel to a tropical destination.
