Getting to St.George from Southampton during Xmas

We will be staying in Southampton during Christmas holidays. What is the best way to visit and explore St.George?

Appreciate everyone's comments.

The most conventional way...public buses (assuming you're not riding rental motor scooters)---#7 (most scenic) or #8 from Southampton to downtown HAMILTON...then transfer at the main bus terminal in downtown Hamilton to a #1 (most scenic), #3, #10 or #11--Hamilton-Saint George's routes to downtown SAINT GEORGE'S. If you will be making the trip in December 25th--Christmas Day or December 26th--Boxing Day...both are public holidays, so public transportation will be operating on its reduced (fewer runs) SUNDAY & HOLIDAY schedules. If you take taxis on Sundays or Public Holidays, there will be an official metered surcharge on fares (25% 1-4 passengers...50% 5-6 passengers).

Tourists often tour around St Georges on scooters at Christmas time. They ride round the winter wonderland and visit the shops, and if you want to rent a vehicle, you can go to one of the different hire companies, such as:

Elbow Beach Cycles

Eves cycles ltd

Smatts cycle livery

Oleander Cycles
