is St George real far from Hamilton?
About 30 minutes or so on the bus.
Could be up to 50 minutes to be more accurate. A taxi will be faster. Depending on the time of year you can also take a ferry from Hamilton to the Dockyard and the Orange Route ferry from there to St George's. About an hour altogether.Edited: 12 April 2015, 06:48
Nothing is real far in Bermuda. Why do you ask?
The '..Average Running Time..' via #1, #3, #10 or #11--Hamilton-Saint George's public bus routes will be approx. sixty(60)-to-sixty-five(65) minutes from the main Bus terminal in downtown Hamilton to the main Bus terminal in downtown Saint George's.
BERMUDA BUS INFO--(Routes, Schedules, Avg. Run. Times, etc)--
KDSAIL: i was checking the gov web site. Looking at route 1. It says via the Perfume Factory.
Is that the same as the Bermuda Perfumery in St George??.....Karen
PS: Renting house next door to the Perfumery. 96 hours from now, I will be sleeping in Bermuda!!!

What is the date on the Bus Schedule that you're referring to ?? I just re-checked the current BUS SCHEDULE (EFFECTIVE APRIL, 2014) at the BDA government site--
and can't find any mention of the Bermuda Perfumery on the schedules of any of the current bus routes.
In decades past, the '..original..' BERMUDA PERFUMERY was located along Blue Hole Hill, across from the Grotto Bay hotel. In 2004 the perfumery business changed hands and the new owners relocated out to its present Stewart Hall location in Saint George's.
I just dug out an old BUS SCHEDULE from April 2009. The BERMUDA PERFUMERY stop was still part of the description for the #11--Hamilton-(via Black Watch Pass, Aquarium and Bermuda Perfumery)-Saint George's (NOT #1) route and listed as an intermediate stop in the '..Average Running Time..' notation for the route. In any event, the route and A-R-T notation referred to the old. 'original' Bermuda Perfumery location, on Blue Hole Hill, across from Grotto Bay Beach Resort, in Hamilton Parish....**NOT**...the 'new' location at Stewart Hall, in Saint George's. Evidently it's taken the Ministry of Transport ten(10) years to catch up with the news of the relocation.
St. Georges is approximately a 30 minute bus ride from Hamilton. Traffic tends to be a lot less hectic out of the eastern end of the island than the west. You can also catch the ferry during the summer which will get you into Hamilton in less than 20 minutes.
Not from St George's it won't.

The Ministry of Transport (who operate the public bus system in Bermuda) usually keeps pretty good track of things like how long it takes to get from here-to-there and they seem to think that it takes sixty(60)-to-sixty-five to get from Saint George's to downtown Hamilton. Thirty(30) minutes will get ya' to somewhere in Hamilton PARISH...coincidently about half-way.

In much the same way, the Department of Marine & Ports Services (who operate the ferry service) also keeps tabs on the public ferry system. It will take approx. forty(40)-to-forty-five(45) minutes to get from downtown Saint George's to Dockyard, via the 'seasonal' (approx. mid-April thru mid-November) ORANGE--Saint George's-Dockyard route ferry...transfer to the BLUE--Dockyard-Hamilton route for the twenty(20) minute ride onward to downtown Hamilton.
