Recommended Tour Guide - Eze!

Our cruise ship docked at St. George's on 12/24/09. After walking around Market Square (a must), we wanted some beach time, but also a mini-tour of the area, and then to get back to St Georges with a couple hours to spare for additional walking around and shopping. Hooked up with Ezekiel "Eze" Jones, and he was fantastic. Born and raised on Grenada, Eze has been providing taxi and tour services for 30 years. Extremely bright and articulate, and drives a very nice air conditioned van. He took my family of 4 to Mourne Rouge beach (beautiful, just past the much more crowded and in our view less beautiful Grand Anse beach) for the standard government-set rate of $20 one-way, picked us up several hours later at the time we specified, and on the return trip at our request we detoured through some local neighborhoods and up to Fort Frederick which provides a spectacular view, and Eze filled us in on the equally spectacular history. Super friendly, charming and gracious. He has a variety of set tours if you want to see more, and he will design a personalized tour also. Check him out at www.ezetaxiandtours.com and contact him at ezedoesit@live.com I can't recommend him highly enough

Glad to hear you had a great visit to the island. And happy to hear you connected with a local tour guide who showed you this beautiful island and gave you some insights into its culture. :-)
