You either need to rent a car or use taxis. The local bus service doesn't extend that far on the island.

Rodney Bay is a 10 minute US $12 cab ride each direction. There are many restaurants and shopping options there. Cap Maison is next to Almond Smugglers Cove and not too far from Le Sport. It is in the Cap Estate area which is where the wealthy locals tend to live and many vacation homes are located there as well.

Taxis can be readily provided by the concierge.

Hi, we are staying at Cap Maison in Feb. Do you know if they offer a shuttle bus to ROdney Bay, or can you walk to any restaurants from the hotel?

Congrats for choosing cap maison , its awesome. Yes,you will need a car if you are planning on exploring the island at all (which you should do)

If you can afford cap maison then an $80 a day car should be no problem.

St Lucia is way too excellent to spend your time handcuffed to any one resort, no matter how amazing. Get out here and explore.

Thank me later.
